Americanflat 24x24 Poster Frame — Black, Matted to 20x20, Engineered Wood with Plexiglass

Americanflat's 24x24 black square picture frame displays large photos or art cleanly, with an included mat to reduce the opening to 20x20.

This solidly built square frame blends modern minimalism with functional details so your prints, posters, or photographs look gallery-ready. Constructed from engineered wood with a smooth black finish and a clear plexiglass front, the frame protects artwork from dust and light scratches while keeping the profile lightweight for easy hanging. It ships with a 19.5 x 19.5" mat opening (for a 20x20 display), turn-button fasteners for quick photo changes, and hardware for vertical or horizontal mounting.

How does this frame protect and display my artwork?

The plexiglass face shields images from dust and abrasions while the engineered wood molding provides a sturdy edge that resists warping. The included mat both centers artwork and gives a professional, museum-style border to smaller prints.

• Clear plexiglass front protects against dust and light surface damage
• Engineered wood (MDF) frame resists bending and keeps corners true
• Included mat reduces visible opening to 20x20 for centered presentation
• Sturdy backboard holds contents flat for a seamless view

Can I hang this frame vertically and horizontally?

Yes — the frame arrives with mounting hardware and is designed for both portrait and landscape display. Switch between orientations quickly and safely without removing the contents.

• Included hanging hardware fits standard picture hooks or nails
• Lightweight construction makes single-person installation easy
• Turn-button fasteners let you open the back without tools for orientation changes

What sizes and materials are used, and how does the mat fit?

The outer frame measures 24 x 24 inches and is built from engineered wood for durability with a matte black finish. The supplied mat has an actual opening of about 19.5 x 19.5 inches to display a 20 x 20 image with even borders.

• Outer frame: 24" x 24" square, wide molding for a bold profile
• Mat opening: approximately 19.5" x 19.5", intended for a 20" x 20" visual
• Face: clear plexiglass for lightweight clarity and impact resistance

How easy is it to change photos or clean the frame?

Swapping artwork is straightforward thanks to turn-button fasteners on the rear panel; you can update the display in seconds without tools. For maintenance, wipe the plexiglass gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth.

• Turn buttons allow quick access to replace prints
• Rear panel secures images firmly to prevent shifting
• Easy-care plexiglass resists fingerprints when cleaned properly
