How do these inserts stay plump and supportive?

The inserts use 4.2 pounds of premium goose feather and down per insert, providing extra volume so pillows maintain shape over time. The higher fill weight translates into a fuller face and firmer back support whether used on a bed or sofa.

• 20% more fill than typical inserts for sustained loft.
• Down-and-feather mix balances softness with structure.
• Ideal for euro shams, accent cushions, and back support.

Will feathers poke through my cushion cover?

basic home uses a double-layer "no-poke" construction: a sturdy woven cotton exterior combined with a soft inner cotton liner that traps feathers. This barrier greatly reduces the chance of quills piercing fabric and keeps the surface smooth under decorative covers.

• 233 thread count outer cotton for durability and a refined look.
• Soft inner liner to capture stray fibers and minimize shedding.
• Stitched seams designed to hold fill securely.

How should I care for and refresh these inserts?

These inserts are machine washable for easy upkeep—no specialized dry cleaning required. After washing, a warm dryer cycle with dryer balls for 20–30 minutes fluffs the down to restore loft quickly; always follow garment-care instructions included with the product.

• Machine washable on gentle; use mild detergent.
• Tumble-dry with dryer balls to re-fluff and prevent clumping.
• Open from vacuum-sealed packaging, shake, and allow 24 hours to expand fully.

Are these inserts ready to use out of the box?

Yes—these arrive vacuum-sealed to preserve freshness and reduce shipping volume; they are processed to be odor-free so you won’t encounter chemical or warehouse smells. Simply unpack, vigorously shake the insert, and let it rest for up to 24 hours to return to its intended 28x28 dimensions.

• Vacuum-sealed packaging for safe transit and freshness.
• Pre-treated filling to minimize initial odor.
• Two inserts included for coordinated styling.
