BestOffice 13-Gallon Motion Sensor Trash Can with Lid — Black, Touchless, Odor-Sealing 50L

BestOffice 13 Gallon Plastic Trash Can with Lid is a touchless, battery-powered waste bin that opens and closes via motion sensor for hygienic, quiet disposal in kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and bedrooms.

This sleek black oval trash can blends modern styling with practical features: a 13-gallon (50 L) capacity that fits standard kitchen bags, a motion sensor for hands-free operation, and a durable waterproof polypropylene (PP) body that is easy to clean. Powered by four C-cell batteries, the sensor unit is engineered for long runtime and reliable performance when installed and maintained as instructed. The sloping lid and odor-sealing design help keep smells contained while the compact, elegant profile fits against counters or in corners without drawing attention.

How does the motion sensor make everyday use easier?

The built-in infrared motion sensor automatically opens the lid when it detects movement and closes shortly after you step away, enabling touch-free waste disposal that reduces contact with germs and keeps the lid closed when not in use. Operation is quiet and subtle so it won’t disrupt kitchen tasks or office work.

• Hands-free opening reduces surface contact and mess.
• Quiet motorized lid maintains a calm environment.
• Automatic close helps contain odors and keeps pests out.
• Sensor range tuned for typical countertop and floor-level use.

What size garbage bags fit this 13-gallon bin and how much trash does it hold?

This BestOffice container is sized for standard 13-gallon (50 L) trash bags, suitable for daily kitchen waste or shared office use. Its oval footprint gives slightly more usable volume while staying compact enough for tight spaces.

• Fits standard 13-gallon kitchen bags for easy replacement.
• Large 50 L capacity supports household or small-office needs.
• Oval shape maximizes interior space without increasing floor area.
• Compatible with common bag brands and sizes for convenience.

What power and maintenance does the sensor mechanism require?

The trash can is powered by four C-cell batteries (not included); alkaline cells are recommended for best runtime and reliability. Proper battery installation and keeping the unit in a cool, dry, ventilated area will protect the electronics and help the unit deliver up to tens of thousands of openings under normal use.

• Requires 4× C batteries — alkaline recommended for longest life.
• Up to around 40,000 openings when batteries and use conditions are typical.
• Install batteries with correct polarity and set the power switch to ON.
• Wipe the PP surface with a dry towel for routine cleaning; avoid water exposure to the sensor compartment.

How does the design control odor and fit into home décor?

The sloping lid and tight-fitting rim help keep smells contained while the odor-sealing closure minimizes scent escape between uses. Finished in matte black PP plastic with a low-profile oval silhouette, the bin complements contemporary kitchens, bathrooms, and workspaces without being obtrusive.

• Odor-sealing lid reduces scent leakage and blocks pests.
• Waterproof, anti-scratch PP exterior wipes clean easily.
• Sleek oval shape blends with modern and minimalist interiors.
• Compact footprint fits near counters, under cabinets, or beside desks.
