BGment Blackout Curtains for Bedroom — 63-inch White 2-Panel Set, Thermal & Noise-Reducing

BGment White Blackout Curtains are a two-panel, 63-inch set designed to fully block light, boost insulation, and reduce outside noise while keeping a clean, modern look.

These BGment curtains pair a pure white face with a white sewn backing to deliver complete blackout performance plus added weight and a smooth hand-feel. Each set includes two 42-inch-wide panels (six silver grommets per panel) crafted to hang on standard rods under 1.6" diameter. Built as a double-layer construction, they prioritize privacy, temperature control, and quieter interiors without sacrificing style.

How do these curtains stop light and protect privacy?

The panels use a double-layer fabric assembly and careful material selection to provide true blackout coverage. When installed with adequate overlap they prevent streetlights and daytime glare from entering the room and create a private interior space.

• 100% blackout design with double-layer fabric on both sides
• Full-width panels (42" each) for broad coverage
• White backing sewn to the reverse to maintain consistent appearance
• Six silver grommets per panel for even drape and easy hanging

Will these curtains help keep a room cooler in summer or warmer in winter?

Yes—BGment’s lined construction provides thermal insulation that slows heat transfer through windows, helping interiors stabilize faster when heating or cooling. Closed panels reduce drafts and limit solar heat gain, which can support lower energy use from HVAC systems.

• Double-layer lining improves thermal resistance
• Helps retain conditioned air when closed
• Can reduce direct solar warming in bright rooms
• Machine-washable for easy maintenance (no bleach)

Do these curtains reduce outside noise and how noticeable is the effect?

The fabric weight and dual layers are thicker than single-layer drapes, which increases sound absorption and reduces some ambient noise. While not a replacement for professional acoustic treatments, they make a measurable difference for street sounds, hallway noise, and other everyday disturbances.

• Thicker two-layer construction dampens external sounds
• Creates a quieter environment for sleep, work, or nursery use
• Improves perceived room quietness compared with lightweight curtains
• Even drape reduces gaps that let noise through

What should I know about sizing and installation for the best result?

Each panel is supplied fully unfolded at 63 inches long and 42 inches wide, so measure your window and allow overlap and rod clearance. Hang the rod slightly higher than the window frame and choose a combined curtain width greater than your window width for proper fullness and effective blackout.

• Panels are 63" long and 42" wide each, six grommets per panel
• Use a rod under 1.6" diameter to fit the grommets
• For maximum blackout, allow panels to overlap and extend beyond window edges
• Machine washable—gentle cycle recommended; do not bleach

Who is this for? These BGment curtains suit anyone who wants reliable light blocking, temperature control, and reduced noise without changing a room’s minimalist aesthetic. They work well in bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms, and living spaces where privacy and energy savings are priorities, and they’re a practical choice for renters or homeowners looking for a ready-to-hang, easy-care solution.
