BGment Light Grey Room-Darkening Curtains 63 Inch 2-Panel Set — Grommet Top, Thermal-Insulating

These BGment light grey room-darkening curtains are a 2-panel, grommet-top set designed to block most daylight while improving thermal comfort and privacy.

Made for bedrooms, nurseries, and living spaces, these 63-inch curtains combine a neutral light-grey finish with a metal-grommet header for fast hanging and smooth glide. Each panel is 42 inches wide, giving you a total coverage of 84 inches across when the pair is closed. The fabric is engineered to reduce incoming sunlight and UV, help stabilize indoor temperatures, and mute outside noise levels without adding bulk or heavy hardware.

How well will these curtains darken my room?

The BGment panels are described as room-darkening rather than full blackout, blocking about 85%–99% of sunlight depending on light conditions and color. Lighter grey tones soften direct rays while still noticeably reducing glare and protecting interior fabrics from fading.

• Blocks the majority of visible light and UV for reduced glare.
• Darker shades increase light-blocking effectiveness; light grey balances brightness and dimming.
• Layerable with liners for near-complete blackout if needed.

Will these curtains help lower energy bills?

Yes—these panels include thermal-insulating properties that help buffer indoor temperature swings. By slowing heat transfer through windows, they reduce cooling load in summer and heat loss in winter, which can contribute to energy savings over time.

• Insulating fabric reduces summer heat gain and winter heat loss.
• Helps protect floors and furniture from sun-related fading.
• Pairs well with weatherstripping or cellular shades for added efficiency.

How easy are they to hang and maintain?

The curtains come with six silver metal grommets per panel (1.6-inch inner diameter) that fit most standard rods for quick installation and smooth sliding. Care is low-maintenance: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low, and warm iron if needed—avoid bleach to preserve fabric performance.

• Six smooth-glide metal grommets per panel for fast setup.
• Machine washable (gentle/cold); tumble dry low; do not bleach.
• Recommended rod diameter matches the 1.6" grommet opening for easy fit.

What are the dimensions and what’s included in the package?

Each package contains two matching light grey panels. Each panel measures 42 inches wide by 63 inches long, providing standard window coverage suitable for many bedrooms and smaller living-room windows.

• Set of 2 panels — total width coverage 84 inches when closed.
• Panel size: 42" wide × 63" long, standard short length for sitting windows.
• Six metal grommets per panel with 1.6" inner diameter for curtain rods.

Who is this for? These BGment room-darkening curtains suit homeowners and renters seeking a clean, modern look while improving privacy, cutting glare, and boosting thermal performance without heavy blackout fabric. They work well in bedrooms, child rooms, home offices, and living areas where moderate darkening, easy care, and simple installation are priorities. If you need complete blackout or extra-long lengths, consider pairing these panels with a blackout liner or selecting a different length.
