Chi An Home Capiz Square Tissue Box Cover Navy — Handmade 5.5" Checkerboard Cube

Handmade navy capiz shell cube that neatly hides standard square tissue boxes while adding a coastal-chic statement to any room.

This CHI AN HOME 5.5" Capiz Square Tissue Box Cover is a decorative, functional sleeve designed to slip over standard square tissue cartons and instantly upgrade their appearance. Crafted with an MDF frame and inlaid natural capiz shells finished in navy and white checkerboard, this cube blends artisan detail with everyday practicality. A convenient sliding base lets you replace tissue boxes quickly, and the compact footprint makes it suitable for small surfaces from bedside tables to powder rooms.

How well will this cover fit my tissue box?

The exterior measures 5.5" L x 5.5" W x 5.7" H, and the interior opening is approximately 5.35" x 5.35" x 5.2" H, matching most standard square tissue brands like Kleenex and Puffs. Because it’s designed for a snug fit, the cover stays securely over the box without sliding around.

• Compatible with common square tissue cartons
• Interior dimensions allow a close, non-shifting fit
• Bottom slider makes refills fast and simple

What materials and craftsmanship are used?

Each cover is handcrafted from a sturdy MDF frame with hand-set natural capiz shell tiles that create a subtle mother-of-pearl sheen. The checkerboard pattern is thoughtfully inlaid for a polished look that reads as both modern and artisanal.

• MDF core for structural stability
• Natural capiz shell tiles with mother-of-pearl finish
• Handmade variations mean each piece is unique

Where will this tissue holder look best in my home?

The navy checkerboard motif complements coastal, boho, farmhouse, and contemporary interiors, and the cube’s compact form fits a variety of surfaces. Place it on a bathroom vanity, living room coffee table, home office desk, or a guest room nightstand to add an instant decorative accent.

• Works well on vanities, desks, and side tables
• Navy-and-white palette pairs with neutral or bold color schemes
• Adds a handcrafted focal point to simple spaces

How do I care for and maintain the capiz finish?

Keep the cover looking fresh by dusting gently and wiping with a soft, slightly damp cloth when needed; avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged moisture exposure. The lacquered finish is non-toxic once cured, and slight variations in color or shell placement are normal and expected with handcrafted pieces.

• Dust regularly with a soft cloth
• Wipe gently; avoid harsh chemicals
• Small variations in color/texture are part of the handmade charm
