The Zakarian by DASH Safe Slice Mandoline is a foldable, safety-focused kitchen slicer with stainless-steel blades and an easy thickness adjuster for uniform vegetable and potato cuts.

Whether you’re preparing salads, crisp fries, or finely diced ingredients, this compact mandoline brings professional-style slicing to the home kitchen. It pairs a clear safety-forward design with durable blades and a quick-change thickness control so you can go from paper-thin slices to hearty cuts without swapping tools.

How does the Zakarian by DASH make slicing safer and easier?

This mandoline was designed to keep hands well away from sharp edges while delivering consistent results. A dedicated Ingredient Pusher secures produce during slicing and the housing reduces direct contact with blades, lowering the chance of slips.

• Included Ingredient Pusher holds food steady and protects fingers.
• Enclosed blade assembly minimizes exposure to cutting edges.
• Stable base and non-slip feet help prevent shifting while you work.

What cutting options and precision does it offer?

Equipped with stainless-steel blades and a built-in thickness adjuster, the Zakarian by DASH gives you a wide variety of cuts for many recipes. Use it for thin slices, julienne strips, matchsticks, and even dicing for uniform results every time.

• More than 30 slicing combinations including julienne and matchstick options.
• Adjustable thickness control for consistent, repeatable slices.
• Stainless-steel blades maintain sharpness for clean cuts.

How practical is it for storage and cleanup?

The mandoline’s foldable frame collapses for compact storage so it fits easily into drawers or cabinets. When prep is finished, blades and surfaces rinse clean, and the included cleaning brush helps remove stuck-on bits; many parts are dishwasher safe for convenience.

• Collapsible design stores flat to save kitchen space.
• Dishwasher-safe components speed post-meal cleanup.
• Cleaning brush included for safe blade-area maintenance.

What kinds of foods and recipes will benefit most from this tool?

From potatoes for fries to cucumbers for salads or vegetables for stir-fries, this mandoline adapts to common kitchen tasks that require uniform pieces. It’s especially helpful when you need many identical slices quickly for even cooking and attractive plating.

• Prepare consistent fries, chips, and gratin layers.
• Slice vegetables thin for salads and garnishes.
• Create julienne strips for slaws, stir-fries, and toppings.
