The Gibson Home Rockaway 12-piece stoneware set is a modern, matte-finish dinnerware collection that supplies four complete place settings with durable, microwave- and dishwasher-safe plates and bowls.

This Rockaway set blends contemporary minimalism with everyday practicality. Each piece is crafted from hearty stoneware with a smooth matte glaze in a warm cream tone and a subtle off-white rim, giving your table a refined, on-trend look without sacrificing toughness. The coupe silhouette increases usable surface area for plating and stacks neatly for compact storage. Whether you serve casual weeknight meals or host friends, the set offers consistent style and convenience that coordinates with other colors for mix-and-match layouts.

How sturdy and practical is this dinnerware for daily use?

The Rockaway collection is built from high-fired stoneware that stands up to regular handling. Its thicker construction and durable glaze help resist chips and wear while remaining suitable for everyday routines.

• Stoneware body fired at high temperatures for strength
• Matte glaze hides small scratches better than glossy finishes
• Dishwasher-safe for busy households
• Microwave-safe for reheating meals

What pieces are included, and what sizes should I expect?

This 12-piece set serves four people with three essential dish types sized for common uses. Proportions were chosen for versatility across breakfasts, dinners, and desserts.

• 4 dinner plates — 10.5 inches across for main courses
• 4 dessert plates — 8 inches, suitable for salads or sides
• 4 bowls — 6 inches, 25.5 oz capacity for soups or cereals
• Coupe shape provides extra flat surface for plating

Will this set coordinate with other tableware and decor?

The cream matte finish and subtle off-white rim make this collection an adaptable neutral that layers well with patterned linens and colorful serveware. Mix-and-match options from the Rockaway line let you compose a personalized tablescape.

• Neutral cream tone complements wood, metal, and bright accents
• Matte texture pairs with both rustic and modern settings
• Stackable coupe shape saves cabinet space and blends with other collections
• Available in additional colors for coordinated or eclectic looks

How should I care for and store these pieces to keep them looking their best?

Care is straightforward: the set is both microwave- and dishwasher-safe, simplifying reheating and cleanup. To extend life and maintain finish, avoid sudden temperature shocks and use gentle stacking techniques.

• Safe in the dishwasher — use routine cycles
• Microwave-safe for heating leftovers
• Do not move directly from freezer to oven to prevent thermal stress
• Stack with felt or paper protectors if long-term storage is needed

Who this is for: The Gibson Home Rockaway 12-piece set is ideal for households seeking a durable, stylish base set that works for daily meals and small gatherings. It suits renters, first-time homeowners, couples, and families who value low-maintenance dishware with a contemporary matte aesthetic and straightforward care. If you want a service-for-four that stacks neatly, coordinates with other pieces, and performs reliably in dishwashers and microwaves, this set is a practical, attractive choice.
