Hydro Flask insulated stainless steel water bottle 16 oz Wide Mouth — White, TempShield 24H cold / 12H hot, leakproof Flex Sip Lid

Hydro Flask 16 oz Wide Mouth bottle is an insulated stainless-steel travel mug with a leakproof Flex Sip Lid that keeps drinks hot up to 12 hours and cold up to 24 hours. This compact, cupholder-friendly bottle combines double-wall TempShield insulation with pro-grade stainless steel to preserve temperature and flavor without transferring tastes. The 16-ounce capacity and wide mouth make it easy to fill, drink from, and clean, while the Flex Sip Lid offers a secure sipping option that closes to prevent spills. Its white finish looks clean on the go and the profile fits most car cupholders and backpacks.

How well does this bottle maintain drink temperature?

The Hydro Flask uses TempShield double-wall vacuum insulation to slow heat transfer, so cold beverages stay chilled for up to 24 hours and hot drinks remain warm for up to 12 hours. The construction also prevents the exterior from sweating or becoming too hot to handle.

• 24 hours cold and 12 hours hot performance under typical conditions
• Exterior stays comfortable to touch thanks to insulation
• Stainless-steel interior minimizes temperature loss and thermal shock

Is the Flex Sip Lid really leakproof and easy to use?

The Flex Sip Lid locks closed to reduce the chance of spills when stowed in a bag. Twist the lid shut to seal, or open the sip channel for a drink on the go; its design balances convenience with secure closure rather than being a full sport-cap replacement.

• Leakproof when the lid is twisted closed for secure transport
• Sip-friendly opening that allows drinking without removing the entire lid
• Durable hinge and flexible materials built for everyday use

How easy is it to clean and keep tastes neutral?

Made from pro-grade stainless steel, the bottle resists flavor transfer so tastes from previous beverages don’t linger. The wide mouth makes it simple to hand-wash or fit a bottle brush, and the minimalist interior reduces nooks where residue can collect.

• Stainless-steel interior for neutral taste and easy rinsing
• Wide mouth accepts brushes, ice, and coffee pour-over cones
• Removable lid parts clean quickly by hand; check manufacturer guidance for dishwasher use

Will this bottle fit in my car or backpack cupholder?

The 16 oz profile was designed with compatibility in mind; the base dimensions slot into most standard cupholders so you can keep it handy during commutes and errands. Its compact footprint also makes it easy to stash in pack pockets or café trays.

• Cupholder-friendly shape for cars, strollers, and gym equipment
• Lightweight and compact for day-to-day carry
• Low-profile design reduces tipping risk in confined spaces

Who is this for This Hydro Flask 16 oz Wide Mouth bottle suits commuters, coffee and tea drinkers, and anyone who wants a durable, temperature-retaining bottle sized for everyday carry. Pick it if you need a travel-ready insulated container that balances spill resistance, easy sipping, and a compact footprint without unwanted flavors. It’s also a good choice for people who prioritize build quality, easy cleaning, and a bottle that fits most cupholders.
