Ieavier Mason Jars 12-Pack 16oz Wide Mouth Glass Jars with Airtight Lids and Bands

Ieavier 12PCS Wide Mouth Mason Jars are a 16oz glass canning set with airtight lids and bands designed for safe food storage, preserving, and versatile kitchen DIYs.

These 12 clear 16-ounce mason jars (six jars with six matching lids and bands plus six additional bands) are made from upgraded soda-lime glass and designed for everyday kitchen use. The wide mouth and transparent body make filling, scooping and monitoring contents easy, while the screw-top lids create a reliable seal to help reduce spills and protect shelf-stable foods. The set is BPA-free and dishwasher safe, providing a practical, reusable alternative to single-use containers.

How do these mason jars perform for home canning and preserving?

They are built to handle typical home canning tasks such as jams, pickles and infused oils when used with recommended safe canning practices. The glass resists staining and odor retention, and lids are designed to form a tight seal for short-term preservation and storage.

• 16 oz capacity ideal for small-batch preserves and single-serve portions
• Wide mouth simplifies filling, stirring, and removing contents
• Airtight lids and bands reduce leaks and protect against contaminants
• Clear glass lets you check contents and freshness at a glance

Can I use these jars in the fridge, freezer, microwave, or dishwasher?

The glass jars themselves are suitable for refrigerator and dishwasher use, and can be used in microwave for reheating without lids. As with all glassware, avoid extreme temperature shocks—do not transfer straight from freezer to hot oven or vice versa. Bands and metal lids should be removed before microwaving and may have limited longevity in the dishwasher due to wear.

• Dishwasher-safe jars for easy cleanup
• Freezer- and refrigerator-friendly when leaving headspace for expansion
• Microwave jars safe for reheating without metal lids/bands
• Hand-wash lids/bands to extend lifespan and maintain seal

What creative projects and everyday uses work well with this set?

These mason jars are highly adaptable: use them for beverages, salads, overnight oats, layered desserts, or DIY gifts and décor. Their clear, classic design makes them suitable for labeling, gifting, or turning into candle holders and small planters. Because they come in a multipack, they’re convenient for entertaining, meal prep, or craft projects that require uniform containers.

• Meal-prep salads, parfaits, and single-serve drinks
• Homemade jams, sauces, pickles and infused syrups
• Crafts like candles, terrariums, and wrapped gift jars
• Organizing small pantry items, spices, or baking ingredients

How easy are these jars to clean and maintain?

The wide mouth plus smooth glass interior makes thorough cleaning simple, whether by hand or in the dishwasher. Remove the metal bands and lids before prolonged dishwasher cycles to reduce rusting and preserve the airtight function. For stuck-on residue, soak warm soapy water or use a bottle brush to reach the bottom.

• Wide mouths allow easy access with brushes or sponges
• Dishwasher-safe glass; hand-wash lids to prevent corrosion
• Soda-lime glass resists scratches and staining under normal use
• Store with lids off between uses to avoid trapped moisture
