Kenney Adjustable 1" Curtain Rod 72–144" Black — Rust-Resistant, Heavy-Duty Support

The Kenney Weaver is a 1-inch diameter, rust-resistant adjustable curtain rod designed for indoor or covered outdoor use, extending from 72" to 144" to support light to heavyweight curtains with stable, industrial-style support.

This telescoping drapery rod combines a rugged pipe-inspired silhouette with a textured, protective finish so you can mount curtains on windows, patios, pergolas, or covered porches without sacrificing style. It arrives as a complete hardware kit — rod with cap end finials, mounting brackets, a center support, screws, anchors, and installation instructions — built to hold a range of curtain types and weights while resisting the elements in protected outdoor spaces.

How does the Weaver rod accommodate different window and door widths?

The rod telescopes from 72" to 144", letting you tailor the length for standard windows, extra-wide openings, sliding doors, or multi-panel curtains. An included center support adds reinforcement for longer spans to prevent sagging.

• Adjustable length: 72"–144" to fit many openings
• Includes center support for wide spans
• Projects 3.4" from the wall for curtain movement
• Works with grommet, pocket, tab top, and clip-ring curtains

Will this rod stand up to outdoor or humid environments?

The steel rod is treated with a textured rust-resistant coating intended for covered outdoor spaces and humid rooms like bathrooms or kitchens. While not for fully exposed outdoor use, the finish helps slow corrosion in sheltered areas.

• Textured coated steel resists moisture and corrosion
• Suitable for covered patios, pergolas, and bathrooms
• Avoid direct exposure to heavy rain or salt spray
• Durable finish maintains appearance over time

Which curtain styles and weights can I use with this rod?

The 1" diameter gives extra rigidity compared with thinner rods, making it compatible with sheer to heavier draperies when used with the supplied brackets and center support. It also works with curtain rings and clips for flexible hanging options.

• Compatible: grommet, rod-pocket, tab-top, back-tab, tie-top
• Use with curtain clip rings for alternate hanging styles
• Designed to support light to heavyweight curtains when correctly installed
• Industrial 1" profile keeps curtains aligned and stable

What comes in the box and how hard is installation?

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic drilling and measuring.

• Included: rod, finials, two brackets, center support, screws, anchors
