OILP Black Cigar Ashtray – Metal Tray with Solid Merbau Wood Base, 4 Cigar Rests

The OILP Black Cigar Ashtray is a heavy-duty, wind-resistant ashtray combining a solid Merbau wood base with a polished gunmetal stainless-steel tray and four cigar rests.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, this ashtray pairs the warmth and durability of Merbau hardwood with a rust-resistant stainless-steel bowl. Its weighted construction keeps it stable in breezy patios or busy bars, while the central dome and roomy basin collect ash neatly. The dark, modern finish makes it a practical accessory and an upscale gift for cigar enthusiasts.

How does this ashtray stay stable in outdoor or windy settings?

The ashtray’s solid Merbau wood base adds substantial weight and a low center of gravity, so it resists tipping and shifting. The heavy metal tray fits securely into the wooden base to further reduce wobble.

• Merbau hardwood base provides mass and rot resistance
• Stainless-steel tray locks into the base for stability
• Weighted 2.1-pound construction helps withstand gusts

What sizes and cigars will it accommodate?

With an overall footprint around 6.1" square and a deep basin, this ashtray comfortably holds several cigars or cigarillos at once. Four generous cigar rests are shaped to support thicker ring gauges as well as slimmer smokes.

• Dimensions: approximately 6.1" x 6.1" x 1.58" for tabletop fit
• Four wide grooves to cradle a range of cigar sizes
• Large basin collects ash without frequent emptying

How do you clean and maintain the ashtray?

The polished gunmetal finish on the stainless-steel tray resists rust and wipes clean with minimal effort. Routine care keeps both metal and wood looking new without abrasive cleaners.

• Wipe metal tray with a damp cloth; dry immediately to preserve finish
• Gently dust and occasionally oil the Merbau base to maintain luster
• Detachable tray design makes emptying and cleaning simple

Is this ashtray a suitable gift for cigar lovers?

The understated black finish and solid construction give it a masculine, contemporary aesthetic that suits many tastes. It’s a practical present for occasions where style and function matter—the kind of gift a cigar aficionado will use regularly.

• Classic black and gunmetal look fits office, bar, or patio decor
