The ORI Future GLAZER mini is a compact clear-sphere ice mold that produces large, slow-melting crystal ball ice ideal for whiskey and craft cocktails.
Designed by ORI Future for drinking enthusiasts, the GLAZER mini combines a stainless-steel outer shell, BPA-free silicone mold and custom plastic liners to freeze remarkably clear 2.56-inch spheres. Its small footprint fits most home freezers while delivering elegant, long-lasting ice that chills drinks evenly with minimal dilution.
GLAZER mini reduces trapped air and impurities by directing water to freeze from the outside inward and using a fitted liner to control expansion. Using mineral or boiled tap water further limits dissolved gases and cloudiness for a near-transparent sphere.
The mold creates a 2.56 x 2.56 inch (6.5 x 6.5 cm) sphere—large enough to cool a spirit efficiently while fitting most standard whiskey tumblers and rocks glasses. Its overall mold measures 3.46 x 6.10 inches (8.8 x 15.5 cm), making it compact to store.
The set includes one BPA-free silicone mold, two customized plastic liners and a stainless-steel outer body. All components are simple to clean: hand wash or rinse; silicone tolerates gentle dishwashing but avoid high-heat cycles that could warp liners.
For the best clarity, fill the mold with mineral water, tap water, or boiled and cooled tap water, then freeze undisturbed. Slow, directional freezing plus a quality water source minimizes cloudiness and yields a handsome crystal ball.
Who is this for? The ORI Future GLAZER mini suits home bartenders, whiskey lovers and design-conscious hosts who want an elegant, slow-melting ice solution without professional equipment. It’s ideal for anyone who values presentation and controlled dilution in spirits or cocktails, but lacks space for larger directional freezers. If you enjoy neat pours, crafted cocktails or elevating casual drinks with a refined touch, the GLAZER mini is a compact tool that delivers visibly clearer, longer-lasting ice spheres.
