Owala Insulated Coffee Tumbler 12 oz — Cozy Cocoa, Leakproof SmoothSip Slider & Double-Wall Stainless Steel

The Owala SmoothSip Slider is a 12-ounce insulated stainless-steel coffee tumbler with a leakproof slide-top spout built for comfortable sipping on the go.

If you want a compact travel mug that combines spill-proof performance with a smooth drinking experience, this Owala tumbler is designed to be easy to hold, simple to clean, and reliable for daily use. Its double-wall insulation maintains beverage temperature for hours while the SmoothSip Slider spout closes fully to prevent leaks. The Cozy Cocoa finish offers a neutral, warm tone that looks at home on a desk, in a car cupholder, or packed in a bag.

How does the SmoothSip Slider prevent spills during commutes?

The defining feature is the slide-top spout that seals the drinking opening completely when closed. That mechanism eliminates accidental splashes and lets you carry the tumbler upright or sideways without leaks. The design is engineered to be simple to operate with one hand, making it practical for travel and hands-busy moments.

• Fully leakproof slide-top spout for worry-free transport
• Secure lid that locks the opening closed
• One-handed slide operation for convenience on the move

Will this cup keep my coffee hot or my iced drink cold?

The Owala SmoothSip uses double-wall vacuum insulation to slow heat transfer, keeping hot drinks warm and chilled beverages cooler for extended periods. While actual times vary by ambient conditions, the manufacturer provides typical performance guidelines for everyday use. This makes it a practical option for commutes, office use, and short outings.

• Double-wall stainless steel construction for thermal performance
• Typical retention: hot drinks up to about 6 hours, cold drinks up to about 24 hours
• 12-ounce capacity balances portability and serving size

How easy is it to clean and maintain the tumbler?

The cup body is designed for hand washing while the lid is dishwasher safe, simplifying routine care. The SmoothSip Slider disassembles easily enough to reach the spout area, helping prevent residue buildup. Materials are BPA- and phthalate-free, and Owala backs the product with a limited lifetime warranty for defects.

• Hand wash recommended for the stainless-steel cup body
• Dishwasher-safe lid for quick cleaning
• BPA- and phthalate-free materials; limited lifetime warranty

Does the tumbler fit common cup holders and feel comfortable to hold?

At 12 ounces, the Owala SmoothSip is compact enough to sit comfortably in most vehicle cup holders and easy to grip in one hand. The smooth exterior and balanced weight distribution make it suitable for daily carry without bulk. Its size is ideal if you prefer a smaller, more portable portion than larger travel mugs.

• 12-ounce capacity for compact portability
• Slim profile fits many standard cup holders
• Comfortable hand feel and easy one-handed operation

Who is this for: The Owala SmoothSip Slider 12 oz is aimed at commuters, office workers, and anyone who wants a compact, stylish, and spill-resistant cup for hot or cold beverages. It suits people who prioritize a smooth sip, easy cleaning, and a size that fits in most car cup holders or small bags. If you need larger volume for long days, consider a bigger model, but if you value portability plus reliable insulation and leak protection, this tumbler is a practical choice.
