Poly-America 18-Gallon Trash Compactor Bags, White Pack of 2 — 2 mil Heavy-Duty with Drawstring, Fits Residential Compactors

The Poly-America HK18XDS050W are heavy-duty 18-gallon white trash compactor bags with drawstrings, sold in a convenient two-pack for easy disposal and space-saving waste management.

These compactor bags are made from durable polyethylene and sized to fit most residential and light-commercial compactors. Each bag measures 2 ft 1-5/8 in by 2 ft 4 in with a 2 mil thickness, offering a balance of strength and flexibility so you can compress ordinary household refuse without early tearing. The white finish keeps contents discreet, while the drawstring closure provides a simple, tidy way to remove and tie off full bags.

How do these bags perform inside a trash compactor?

Designed specifically for compactors, the bags resist punctures and stretch enough to conform as trash is compressed. Their 2 mil thickness is intended to endure the pressure of compacting cycles while minimizing leaks and splits. You’ll notice fewer replacement cycles compared with thin, non-compactor bags.

• 2 mil polyethylene resists puncture under compaction
• Sized for standard 18-gallon compactor compartments
• White color conceals contents for cleaner appearance
• Drawstring allows secure closure after compaction

Will these bags fit my compactor or trash can?

The HK18XDS050W is sized to provide an 18-gallon capacity, which fits most residential trash compactors and small commercial units. Measure your compactor compartment to confirm compatibility: a packed bag will compress but should fit comfortably in a standard 18-gallon drum. If you use a larger industrial compactor, choose a larger capacity bag.

• Dimensions: 2 ft 1-5/8 in x 2 ft 4 in (flat before compaction)
• Capacity: nominal 18 gallons when in use
• Best for household or light-commercial compactors
• Not intended for very large industrial compactors

How simple are these bags to use and dispose of?

Each bag includes a drawstring for quick closure; pull, tie, and lift the bag out when full. The lightweight polyethylene material makes the bags flexible during loading and easy to pull free from the compactor once sealed. Because they are sold in a two-pack, you can keep a spare at hand for uninterrupted use.

• Drawstring allows quick, secure sealing
• Flexible material eases removal after compaction
• Pack of two provides an immediate backup bag
• White finish offers a tidy look during handling

What types of waste are suitable for these compactor bags?

These bags handle everyday household trash such as food packaging, paper, plastic wrappers, and non-sharp refuse normally placed in a compactor. They are not recommended for sharp metal fragments, broken glass without wrapping, or highly abrasive materials that could puncture the film. For heavy or hazardous waste, follow local disposal guidelines and use appropriate containment.

• Good for food waste, packaging, and general household refuse
• Avoid direct disposal of unwrapped sharp objects
• Not intended for hazardous or industrial waste streams
• Use proper wrapping for glass or pointed items before inserting

Choose the Poly-America HK18XDS050W if you need discreet white bags with drawstrings that balance durability and flexibility for routine waste compaction.
