Sharp 12-Inch Atomic Wall Clock — White Dial, Black Frame, Self-Setting AA Battery Operated

The Sharp 12-inch Atomic Wall Clock is a battery-powered, self-setting timepiece that syncs daily with the US atomic signal for second-accurate timekeeping.

Designed for clarity and convenience, this round wall clock combines a clean white dial and bold black frame with an internal radio receiver that locks to the WWVB atomic time signal. It automatically updates itself for precise time and daylight saving changes, so you won’t need to set it manually. The minimalist styling fits kitchens, offices, classrooms, and living rooms while a single AA battery keeps it running without cords.

How does the clock maintain exact time?

The clock includes a built-in receiver that picks up the WWVB time broadcasts from the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). It synchronizes daily, keeping the displayed time accurate to within one second without manual adjustments. It also applies daylight saving time changes automatically, based on the radio updates.

• Daily WWVB radio synchronization with NIST atomic time
• Automatic correction for drift to maintain ±1 second accuracy
• Auto-adjustment for daylight saving transitions

What are the physical features and power needs?

This model is a 12-inch round clock with a white face for high contrast and black hour and minute hands for visibility. The frame is black and designed to withstand normal household use while complementing many décor styles. It runs on a single AA battery (not included), offering simple, cordless installation.
