Shooters Global SG Timer GO shot timer — Quick-Release belt mount, Bluetooth & 5000-session battery

The SG Timer GO is a compact, belt-mounted shot timer from Shooters Global that records live shot times, supports dry-fire, connects via Bluetooth to the Drills mobile app, and runs up to 5000 sessions per charge.

Designed and assembled in Poland, the SG Timer GO pairs simple, tactile controls with a large top-mounted display and a quick-release belt attachment so you can train hands-free. Its smart acoustic sensor distinguishes real shots from echoes and small noises, while USB-C charging eliminates disposable batteries. Use it standalone for range sessions or link it to the Drills app for video-overlay timing, remote control and performance analysis.

How does the SG Timer GO handle both dry-fire and live-fire training?

The unit’s smart sensor detects a wide range of firing sounds — from dry-fire clicks to suppressed and unsuppressed cartridges — and filters out echoes and nearby shooters. This lets you consistently capture only the shots that matter, whether you’re rehearsing draws or running live drills at a busy range.

• Smart acoustic sensor recognizes CO2, lr22, 9mm and larger calibers.
• Dry-fire detection lets you practice without recoil and still log times.
• Echo filtering reduces false triggers in indoor or multi-shooter environments.

What connectivity and app features come with the SG Timer GO?

Bluetooth links the timer to the Drills mobile app so you can overlay shot times on video, control the timer remotely, and review stage data. The app also supports exporting and sharing stages in 3D and AR for coaching and long-term progress tracking.

• Real-time video recording with timer overlay from the Drills app.
• Remote start/stop and session control via Bluetooth.
• Analyze sessions on a larger screen and share stages in 3D or AR.

How long will the battery last and how is the device charged?

SG Timer GO uses a rechargeable battery engineered to last an estimated 5000 training sessions on a single charge, minimizing downtime and the need for spare batteries. When it does need power, a standard USB-C cable gets it back to full quickly and reliably.

• Up to 5000 sessions per charge for extended training cycles.
• USB-C charging—no specialty batteries required.
• LED/large screen provides clear battery and session status at a glance.

How practical is the SG Timer GO for on-belt use and everyday handling?

The timer ships with a sturdy quick-release belt connector that locks securely during drills but detaches instantly when you need to remove the unit. The intuitive menu, large top-mounted display and ergonomic shape make it easy to operate while it’s on your belt or in your hand.

• Quick-release belt attachment for secure carry and fast removal.
• Large top display with high-contrast numbers for easy reading.
• Simple, user-friendly controls and menu layout for rapid setup.

Who is this for: The SG Timer GO is ideal for shooters who want pro-level timing and app integration without a premium price. It fits competitive shooters, coaches, instructors and serious hobbyists who need reliable dry-fire detection, long battery life, and the option to capture timed video for technique review. If you value a sturdy, Europe-made device with Bluetooth app features and a practical belt-mounted design, the SG Timer GO is built for your training routines.
