SONGMICS Stainless Steel Step Trash Can 5.2 Gal (20L) — Soft-Close Lid, Slim Space-Saving Design

SONGMICS 5.2-gallon stainless steel step trash can is a compact, quiet, and durable waste bin designed for small spaces with a soft-close lid and removable inner bucket for easy cleaning.

This 20-liter step-operated trash can combines a modern stainless steel finish with space-saving dimensions to suit apartments, small kitchens, bathrooms, dorm rooms, or home offices. It balances sturdiness and design: a rust-resistant body and non-slip base keep it stable, while the soft-close lid reduces noise. The integrated inner bucket and included liner bags streamline emptying and replacements so the bin stays tidy with minimal fuss.

How does the soft-close lid improve daily use?

The soft-close mechanism prevents loud slamming and extends the life of the lid by cushioning each descent. It also enables quiet disposal in shared living areas and nighttime use without disturbance. The lid can be propped at about 90° for hands-free disposal when you need it open for a short time.

• gentle hydraulic-style closing reduces noise and wear
• lifts and stays open at 90° for quick, continuous use
• prevents sudden slams that can scatter trash or startle people

What features make this bin practical for small spaces?

With a 5.2-gallon (20 L) capacity, the bin is sized for single people or couples and fits under counters, beside sinks, or in tight corners. The slim, rectangular shape maximizes usable volume while keeping a small footprint. A back carry handle and included liner bags add convenience for emptying and relocation.

• compact 20 L capacity ideal for bathrooms or apartments
• slim profile fits narrow gaps and under counters
• rear handle eases transport for quick trash runs
• includes 15 liner bags (code KRB30A) for immediate use

How easy is cleaning and maintenance?

The inner bucket removes entirely, making rinsing and bag changes straightforward without handling the outer shell. The stainless steel exterior wipes clean and resists rust and stains when maintained properly. Non-slip pads under the base keep the bin steady and help prevent tipping by pets or accidental bumps.

• removable inner bucket with handles for fast emptying
• stainless steel body wipes down quickly and resists corrosion
• non-slip feet stabilize the bin on tile or hardwood floors

Buyers who prioritize low noise, easy cleaning, and a modern stainless look will appreciate its features.
