Time Timer Original 12" is a large 60-minute visual countdown timer with a bold red disk and silent operation designed for clear, non-disruptive time awareness across classrooms and meeting spaces. The Time Timer Original 12" brings an intuitive, highly visible way to show elapsed and remaining time. Its extra-large face and high-contrast red disk make it easy for students, groups, and adults to recognize time at a glance, while the modern white housing fits contemporary classroom and office aesthetics. This model adds practical tools for teachers and therapists, including a Next Steps™ dry-erase activity card and optional audible alerts for transitions.

How does this timer help keep a whole room on track?

The oversized 12-inch face is built to be seen from across large rooms, converting abstract minutes into a clear visual cue. The red disk shrinks as time passes, so everyone can instantly tell how much time remains without asking or reading small numbers.

• 12-inch high-contrast face for long-distance visibility
• Red visual disk conveys remaining time at a glance
• Silent operation prevents ticking distractions
• Optional audible alert to mark the end of a session

Will it suit classroom routines and therapy sessions?

Yes — it was designed with educators and clinicians in mind. The included oversized Next Steps dry-erase card helps map tasks, transitions, and visual schedules, so learners know what comes next as the timer counts down.

• Comes with a large dry-erase Next Steps activity card
• Supports sequencing and visual schedules for group activities
• Easy-to-change settings for silent mode or optional alert
• Durable frame that complements modern learning spaces

How easy is it to set up and use every day?

Setup is straightforward: set the disk to the desired interval up to 60 minutes and start. The clear face and simple controls make it suitable for teachers, facilitators, and participants of any age without lengthy instruction.

• Quick manual dial for setting up to 60 minutes
• Simple on/off and alert options for classroom use
• Battery-powered for flexible placement on walls or desks
• Large digits and visual disk minimize need for verbal reminders

What makes the 12" Original different from smaller timers?

The larger diameter increases visibility and impact: the visual disk and face area are scaled so groups don’t need to cluster near the timer to read it. This model also pairs the classic Time Timer visual with contemporary styling and teacher-friendly accessories.

• Oversized face for visibility across large rooms or open spaces
• Modern white housing for a clean, professional look
• Includes classroom-ready accessories like the dry-erase card
• Backed by Time Timer’s long-standing classroom experience

Who is this for? This Time Timer Original 12" is ideal for elementary and middle school classrooms, special education and therapy spaces, training rooms, and meeting areas where group awareness of time supports focus and transitions. It’s suited to teachers, therapists, facilitators, and anyone who needs a silent, visually intuitive way to manage sessions, activities, or breaks without repeated verbal prompts.
