Vasunray Wall-Mounted Foldable Clothes Drying Rack 40" White — 6 Rods, 60 lb Capacity

The Vasunray Wall Mounted Clothes Drying Rack is a fold-away, six-rod indoor laundry solution that mounts to the wall and supports up to 60 pounds while remaining nearly invisible when not in use.

If you need a dependable way to air-dry shirts, towels, delicates and heavier items without sacrificing floor area, this 40" Vasunray rack provides a tidy, low-profile option. It installs on standard studs with the included drilling template, folds flat against the wall to disappear from view, and pulls open into a stable six-rod drying surface built from rust-resistant metal.

How much clothing will the rack hold and how strong is it?

The Vasunray rack uses six thickened stainless-steel rods designed to resist sagging and corrosion. It’s optimized for household loads and rated to hold up to about 60 pounds, suitable for towels, shirts, and multiple light garments at once.

• Six evenly spaced metal drying rods for better air circulation
• Thickened rods and reinforced mounts for higher load-bearing strength
• Rust-resistant finish for long-lasting indoor/outdoor use
• Supports up to 60 pounds when mounted to studs

How simple is installation and will it stay secure on my wall?

Vasunray includes a drilling template so you can align holes quickly and mount the unit to standard 16" stud spacing. No extra assembly is needed beyond attaching the bracket to the wall, and fastening into studs improves stability for heavier laundry loads.

• Drilling template included for accurate hole placement
• Six mounting points matching 16" stud spacing
• Minimal assembly—bracket mounts directly to the wall
• Best practice: fasten into studs for maximum load capacity

How does the fold-away feature work and what does it look like when stored?

The rack swings open when you need drying space and folds flat against the wall when not in use, becoming nearly invisible on a white surface. The coated metal finish creates a clean, minimalist look that blends with modern interiors and saves floor space compared with freestanding options.

• Fold-out mechanism for fast deployment and compact storage
• Low-profile when closed—sits flush to the wall
• Smooth, quiet operation engineered to minimize noise
• Neutral white finish that integrates with most decor styles

Can this be used in bathrooms or on balconies?

Yes — the stainless-steel rods and coated metal frame tolerate indoor humidity and sheltered outdoor areas. For maximum lifespan, avoid constant direct exposure to heavy rain and salt air; indoors, it works well in laundry rooms, bathrooms, hallways and covered patios.

• Suitable for indoor areas with moisture, like bathrooms
• Works on covered balconies and porches when shielded from direct weather
• Rust-resistant construction for extended durability
• Promotes air-drying to reduce energy use compared with electric dryers

Who is this for: The Vasunray 40" wall-mounted drying rack suits renters, apartment dwellers and homeowners who need an efficient, unobtrusive way to dry laundry without using floor space or an electric dryer. It’s ideal for people with limited laundry room area, families wanting to air-dry towels and clothing, or anyone seeking a neat, low-noise drying option that tucks away when not in use.
