Zwiesel Glas Pure Burgundy Red Wine Glasses — Set of 4, 23 oz Tritan Crystal, Dishwasher-Safe

Pure Burgundy: a set of four Zwiesel Glas Tritan crystal wine glasses designed with an extra-wide bowl to let full-bodied red wines breathe, dishwasher-safe and made in Germany.

These Zwiesel Glas Pure Burgundy red wine glasses combine a generous 23-ounce bowl with the durability of Tritan crystal for everyday elegance. Their distinctive Pure silhouette has been a customer favorite for over a decade, offering a modern-classic look that lifts table settings while letting Burgundy, Pinot Noir and similar varietals open up and reveal complexity.

How does the wide bowl affect the taste of Burgundy and other reds?

The large, rounded bowl increases the wine's contact with air so aromas develop faster and flavors broaden. It’s especially useful for mature or aromatic red wines that benefit from gentle aeration before drinking.

• Approx. 23 oz capacity provides surface area for aeration
• Wide rim encourages nose access to aromas
• Ideal for Pinot Noir, Burgundy, Shiraz, Malbec and Cabernet

Are these Zwiesel glasses durable and easy to care for?

Yes — Pure glasses are made from Tritan crystal, a strengthened glass formulation that resists chips and maintains clarity. They are machine-blown in Germany and are safe for dishwasher use, which makes them practical for both celebrations and daily use.

• TRITAN Glass Protect technology for added resilience
• Dishwasher-safe for convenient cleaning
• Machine-blown craftsmanship ensures consistent shape and balance

What are the dimensions and what wines suit this shape best?

Each glass measures roughly 9.2 inches tall with a 4.5-inch bowl diameter and holds about 23 ounces. That size is tuned to medium- to full-bodied reds that benefit from breathing without overwhelming lighter wines.

• Height: 9.2 in; Diameter: 4.5 in; Capacity: ~23 oz
• Best for Burgundy, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet, Shiraz, Malbec
• Crystal-clear, smooth structure showcases color and legs

What makes the Pure collection distinctive?

The Pure line uses striking, recognizable contours that pair effortless style with versatility. With seven goblets and four tumblers in the range, the collection adapts to formal dinners and casual gatherings alike.

• Modern-classic design that complements many table settings
